If you have watched the trailer for season 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey it is obvious that there is going to be a ton of DRAMA this season, but what the Fairies here at Zoya are excited about is the nails! So far it looks like the ladies of Jersey are into dark polishes and french manicures.
Zoya Nail Polish offers some great table flipping colors like Zoya Raven, Zoya Riley, Zoya Ashley, Zoya Sasha, and Zoya Nina. Zoya Nail Polish also has great colors for french manicures like Zoya Lucy, Zoya Olivia, Zoya Erin, Zoya Purity, and Zoya Laurie.
The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey starts tonight at 10 pm EST on Bravo and from now on we won't be caught fist pumping without a nice dark nail or a pretty french manicure!
Blue Monday.....Why are Monday's so hard?
A series of Blue Monday!! This is how I feel on Monday Mornings. Ha! Every Monday I will be featuring a blue polish :)
Today I have a comparison of Color Club *Blue Light* and From the Pardon My French Collection that I purchase from Ross *Take me to your Chateau*. I thought maybe they were dupes, but NOT :)

OPI Designer Series - Desire
OPI Designer Series Desire is a rich golden brown holographic polish. This was three coats. Application, as always with OPI, was perfect, smooth and buttery.
Here is a closeup of the holo. The actual colour on the nail is probably a little darker than my photos show (but not as dark as Scrangie's swatch) It's a lovely polish and very complementary on my nails.
I believe this polish may be discontinued now, but I still managed to pick mine up on ebay for a decent price in the last few months. This was the first DS polish I got and I absolutely love it! If I see another bottle around I will grab it as a spare!!

Get in Lines
Happy Sunday, folks! I'm wornnnn out. Had bread class this morning, we learned decorative breads. (inedible and non-rising... the dough is called Pate Morte, which translates to 'dead dough', meaning that since there is no yeast in it, it doesn't rise!) We also had a 'potluck' of sorts, which is why I made my ice cream yesterday, it was a hit, and everyone's food was yum!! :-D Chef Ray even brought in chicken leg quarters for us to cook up for lunch! :) It was definitely a fun class! :) Right now I'm house-sitting and dog sitting, and I have a little white dog that is helping me type right now, and earlier 'helped' me paint my nails. :-D Whenever I sit on the couch with the computer in my lap, he crawls up on my lap and tucks his head under my chin... meaning I get little to no work done. :-D (he's just so damn cute) Today's nails are simple and sweet, with bright color and glitter (who doesn't like glitter?!)

I used Orly Pixy Stix as a base, with Sally Hansen Black Orchid for the black lines, and Nubar Violet Sparkle for the glittery purple lines. Topped everything off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.
My little white 'helper', Homer (aka Homey):

My Pate Morte bread art (everything is bread dough- even the flowers):

*yawn* naptime.
