GLITTERS, GLITTERS, Read All About It...FRANKENING!

Good Morning,  Today its all about glitter.  The NB was talking about these glitters from Dollar Tree.  They are superfine glitters that could be used for making your own polish...it's called Frankening.  I had to go to several stores before I found them.  They are located in the craft dept on an end cap.

(click on all pictures for a closer look)
I only found 4 different packages.  Did you find any others?  It's 6 pouches per package.  I cut the tip end of a package (first pack bottom one, purple) and opened a bottle of WNW Hallucinate clear base glitter polish and poured the glitter in.  I did have some left over just sealed up the unused portion with tape.  It was a  little messy. Lol!!

My DH was so sweet the next day he went to Walmart and bought these for me!  Thanks Honey!! xoxo

Will be using these on my next frankening project with ease  ^_^

It was mentioned on the nail board that its best to use an already glitter polish so when you add your glitter it won't sink to the bottom of the bottle.  There are several glitter polishes you can use such as WNW Hallucinate (shown above) , Kaleidoscope and NYC has one White lights glitter just to name a few that's under $1.00

Shake the bottle vigorously and walla! Here are the results, I used 3 coats could have gotten away with using 2 coats

So, do you have these glitters?  Or will you be looking for them?  I'm sure it will even be more fun mixing several together.  What should I name this baby?  Any thoughts?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day! (wink, wink)

ORLY Metallic Matte 2009 Collection

Good Morning, We made it.  It's Feel Good Friday!  ^_^  Today I am showing some matte polishes.  When I first heard about matte polishes I didn't think I would like them.  I thought who would want dull polish.  I caved and bought my first Mattes, the whole collection of Orly's Metallic Mattes.  Since then I bought others. I have to tell you I am impressed and think they are absolutely beautiful.

Theses mattes are so easy to apply. No application issues. They do dry quick!  I did put on bases coats before applying.  Only needed 2 coats.
