Pink Wednesday...Butter London Disco Biscuit

Good Morning,

Remember my post "Maybe A Dupe to Disco Biscuit"? Well I was curious and I just couldn't get Butter London Disco Biscuit out of my mine.  I went to Ulta and purchased it.  From the bottle they look like close dupes except Funky Fingers Manic Flamingo has pink and the purple/blue shimmer.  BL Disco Biscuit  has the purple/blue shimmer/glitter in a bright pink jelly base.  I didn't have time to do a side by side comparison.  The pictures show that they are different.

I was disappointed that it dried to a dull finish you know how some neon colors look before you apply topcoat? Once I applied Seche Vite topcoat the jelly goodness appeared.

I applied 2 coats.  Maybe I should have applied a 3rd coat.  Although my visible nail line is showing I don't mind it with jelly textured polishes.

I really like the jelly texture because even though it's dry it still looks wet.

The formula was easy to apply

Did you pick up Disco Biscuit to wear this Spring/Summer 2012?  What are your thoughts?  What are you wearing on Pink Wednesday?

Pink Wednesday...Revlon Bubble and Lynnderella Heart Strings

Good Morning,

I'm finally getting around to participate in Pink Wednesday.  Today, I choose to Wear Revlon Bubble . Indeed it's a bubble gum pink creme that covered well with 2 coats.  Afterwards I applied two coats of Lynnderella Heart Strings which I think goes well together with Bubble.  Heart Strings is in a tinted pink base and is packed full of pink and red bar glitter/string glitter.  I applied it by pushing the brush around to go on evenly.  Used two coats. Sorry my pictures don't give this combo justice.

Pink Wednesday...Wet N Wild Fast Dry: How I Met Your Magenta

Good Morning,

Another Pink Wednesday! Wet N Wild Fast Dry:  How I Met Your Magenta. Just like it states this baby dries pretty fast to a satiny finish.  It's a hot pink jell-ish with gold shimmer suspended in.  This isn't a magenta pink it's more of a mid-tone bubblegum pink.  The formula is runny but not hard to apply it's sheer but buildable .  My visible nail line shows slightly after three coats and I topped it off with Beauty Secrets Topcoat.  I like it and think it's very pretty.

Are you wearing Pink today?  Tell me what do you have on?

It's Pink Wednesday...Fashionista

Good Morning,

Today I'm wearing Pink!  It's Confetti Fashionista.  I swatch my polishes at night and sometimes I don't know how to describe a color so I checked The List of Colors thats shown on my left side bar.  Fashionista is a pink that's between a magenta and a french rose.  Let's just say it's a pink/coral. Formula wise it's great! The first coat appear to be jelly like. To get the saturated look I used three coats. I'm starting to become a three coater.

I'm liking these Confetti's they are still available at my CVS stores.

This angle shot my nails look long

Are you wearing pink today?  I wanna know...what are you wearing?
