History

The Portland Trail Blazers, commonly known as the Blazers, are an American professional basketball team based in Portland, Oregon. They play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Trail Blazers originally played their home games in the Memorial Coliseum, before moving to the Rose Garden in 1995. The franchise entered the league in 1970 and has been based in Portland throughout its existence. The franchise has enjoyed a strong following; from 1977 through 1995, the team sold out 814 consecutive home games, the longest such streak in American major professional sports.[3] The Trail Blazers are the only sports team in the "Big Four" sports leagues located in the state of Oregon. After the Vancouver Grizzlies and the Seattle SuperSonics left and relocated to Memphis and Oklahoma City respectively, the Trail Blazers are also currently the only NBA team based in the binational Pacific Northwest.

New Trend Water Colour Nails

Good Morning,

I'm excited to show you this new trend: Water Colour Nails.  I initially saw it on BeautyGeeks website.  I'm trying to get into doing more nail art so I thought I should give this look a try.  Not to bad if I can say so myself.   Just simply add dots of color and blot it with acetone using a makeup brush.

These are the polishes I used

I bought Whirlwind White at CVS during the sale.  Glad I did it's a nice opaque white. Used 2 coats.

Just think of all the color combo possibilities for this look.   What are your thoughts?

Moon, Bronze and Flowers

Good Morning,

After stopping at the post office to drop off a package I wasn't quite ready to go home so I stopped into a Walgreen's that I haven't been to for awhile.  I found SH Xtreme Wear Pumpkin Spice.  I then saw a new display of SH Insta-Dri's and picked up the last Bronze Ablaze. It's a bronze shimmer with a hint of green.   In the store it sorta looked like Chanel's Peridot but, as you can see on the nail it's not a dupe.

I for one love all colors but sometimes they might not be the right color for my skintone.  So,  what did I do...added other colors that compliment my skintone.

Next time you see a color or want it go ahead and pick it up and play with it.

The dots are a lovely teal creme by Ruby Kisses (no name on bottle)

I used konad stamp plate M82 with white special polish

The moon is a nude color by OPI Tickle My Francey it's my go to color. To get the moon I used reinforcements

Do you buy colors that doesn't compliment your skintone?

Rocking My Pink on Wednesday with Instant Iris

Good Morning,

I'm rocking my Pink in the middle of the week!  I have on Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 32 Instant Iris.  Such a beautiful magenta pink with a flash of purple.  No problems with the formula.  I am loving  the flat mop brush on these Insta-Dri's because it covers the nail well while polishing.  Only needed 2 coats.

Go Green Friday! Chartreuse Chase

(Live Green, Love Green, Think Green)

This year is going so fast I can't believe it's April already! We are getting lots of rainstorms this week.  Near my neighborhood a big tree was uprooted from the ground and is lying down in the road.  It's a good thing it didn't fall right on top of the house.  Yikes!  Lots of wind! and it's not even hurricane season yet.  Oh boy...

I picked up a few *New* Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's from Target.  When I saw Chartreuse Chase I just had to bring it home with me.  I like saying the word "Chartreuse".  Chartreuse. Lol!

Chartreuse Chase is a beautiful lime-y yellow green with mint green shimmer flashing through it.  The first coat was alittle streaky but not hard to control.  I love the wide flat brush too.  3 coats was just enough. It's definitely a spring color and I am rocking it today! ~_^

I love it so much!

Going Green Tip: Don't get bottled water - Instead of bottled water get a reusable container to carry water. Also you can get a filter to make your home tap taste more like bottled water. It is definitely more cost efficient.
