"The (Zoya Gems and Jewels Collection) top coats are all very fun and a departure from what other salon and prestige brands have been doing and I like that Zoya took the guesswork out of layering by putting together a collection of shades that work well together."

Zoya Gems and Jewels Swatches and Review by Scrangie
"One thing worth noting about these (Zoya Gems and Jewels Collection) is that the glitter is extremely shiny. I was noticing how shiny it was when I was out in sunlight for some of the photos... They looked alive! Sparkling and twinkling all over the place. Very pretty. I like these glitters a lot."

Zoya Gems and Jewels Swatches and Review by Vampy Varnish
"The (Zoya Gems and Jewels Collection)metallic colors are really nice and you get complete full coverage in just two coats. The glazes are a little less opaque since they don’t have a base color, but they are really jam-packed with colored glitter and holographic bar glitter."

"The intention of this collection is to provide the perfect opaque nude for each skin tone. These are like foundation shades; you pick the one that compliments the undertones in your skin. What's nice about these is you aren't necessarily trying to match your exact skin color (like the 'mannequin hands' manicure), just finding which nude meshes well with your skin, so the right shade can work on anyone from dark to fair skin colors."

"All three were surprisingly pigmented – Zoya really meant it when they said these were full coverage, because these were nearly opaque in one coat, but I used two for the swatches."

"All the colors include a little bit of shimmer to them so they aren’t straight creams, which I actually prefer with these."

Great Nail Polish Reviews for Zoya's Summer 2011 Collections
Zoya Nail Polish released new collections last week and the blogger reviews have started rolling in. See below for links to some of beauties best bloggers and their swatches/input on all the new Zoya collections for Summer 2011...
"This half of the collection (Zoya Sunshine) is definitely reminiscent of last year's Sparkle collection, I think the colors are beautiful, and even though I'm usually a diehard creme finish lover, the sparkle polishes take the cake in this collection, one hundred percent."
__ __ __
See the Temptalia Video here (includes Zoya ModMattes too)...
"The six shades (of Zoya Summertime) are a little reminiscent of last year’s Flash collection, but upon a closer look, they aren’t very similar."
__ __ __
"...The stand-out colors are Breezi and Kieko in my book."
__ __ __
"The formula on these was great. Smooth and consistent, not too thick or thin and no difference in formula
across the whole set. Opacity was great, too."
Scrangie
"All of these colors are so glowy. They're luminous. I really like how they look like they're glowing when you're wearing them. The colors are bright and cheery, and the cheeriness is only amplified by all that golden glow."

Zoya Nail Polish delivers an early holiday gift of Fire to Scrangie, Temptalia and The Nailphile!
Bloggers Scrangie, Temptalia and The Nailphile wrote about some wonderful Zoya colors! Here is a sampling from their sparkling reviews!
As per usual her descriptions are like no other - make sure to visit her site to see all the gorgeous pictures and details of our new Zoya Flame Collection.
By the way Scrangie (and everyone), It's Sarah with an "H" - one of the warehouse fairies decided to drop the "H" during the first label printing ... but hey if you spell your name without the "H" now is the time to get "your" bottle :)
"Overall, this is a kick-ass collection. I crave sparkles. I love every single color and I'd wear them all. Obviously, Valerie is my favorite. These are nice winter shades, icy blue and festive red, but no reason at all you couldn't wear them year round. I think Tiffany is actually a nice beachy looking shade for summer. All the shades are packed with life and sparkle and magic and they make me want to stare at my fingertips all day. Distracting!"
Temptalia gives the overall collection an incredible review.
"The formula was even, smooth, and not too thick or thin. Everything applied with ease, and I didn’t have any trouble removing them. The glittery shades like Crystal may leave some glittery bits on your fingers, but it’s not at all like removing a large particle glitter polish. I used two coats on all six shades, but Lisa, Sara, and Valerie were quite pigmented in just one. I found to get a smooth, even distribution of shimmer/glitter, two coats were optimal."
If you are looking for a reason to love Zoya Nail Polish check out this review by The NailPhile. Her lovely photographs capture the stunning collection in great detail.
"I'm quite a fan of them - I really like the colors, the finishes, and how they work together, and the polishes are easy to work with."

Scrangie breaks it down super simply and shows how convenient the Zoya Color Spoons are.
"I think this is an awesome idea for online polish shoppers and I wouldn't be surprised to see other companies 'borrowing' this idea in the future. It's way more useful than that completely inaccurate color picker with the photoshopped hand that you see on some other salon brand polish websites. You get to see the actual color, in person, against your very own skin."-Scrangie

Bloggers put their spin on the Flash Collection by Zoya Nail Polish
Proving once again that Zoya is the New Color of Fashion and ahead of the curve... nail polish blogs Scrangie and All Lacquered Up recently reviewed the Zoya Flash Collection for Summer 2010 AKA the freshest look in nail color - bold but not neon, fruity but not pastel.

"Flash, the second summer collection from Zoya is a set of six glossy cremes that feel very candy-ish. Like a companion set to one of my fave Zoya collections, Candy, from a few summers ago. Couldn’t you just see all those shades as big glossy jawbreakers in a candy machine? "
All Lacquered Up
You can see the entire Flash Collection: Jancyn, Maura, Jolene, Dana, Perrie, and Robyn in both Scrangie's review here and All Lacquered Up's here.
All Lacquered Up and Scrangie review Sparkle Collection by Zoya Nail Polish
The Zoya Sparkle and Flash Collection for Summer 2010 is starting to hit the web. First up is the Sparkle Collection and All Lacquered Up as well as Scrangie had the honor of reviewing this crowd-stopping collection first.

"What makes the Sparkle collection stand out amongst other colors in this genre is the pigmentation. The problem with glitter polishes is that if the base gets too thick with pigment, the glitter fades to the background or leaves you with a chunky, bumpy mess. So it’s a fine balance and Zoya has definitely toed the line." All Lacquered Up
"Overall, AWESOME!!! GLITTER!!!! It's like Zoya has been spying on all of us and seeing how excited we get about colorful glitters. I love seeing glitters in bold, vibrant colors. These definitely fit the bill for bold and vibrant! And they're uber-sparkly. I'd even say they're more sparkly than the winter Ultra-Glitters. I'm a happy camper."
Scrangie
You can see the entire Sparkle Collection: Mimi, Nidhi, Charla, Ivanka, Gilda, and Alegra in both Scrangie's review here and All Lacquered Up's here.

Scrangie likes it, she really likes it! Scrangie just posted swatches and color review on our latest Zoya Nail Polish collection - Reverie.... yippeeeeeeee
"Overall, I think this is a really fascinating collection (Zoya Reverie)."
"Adina. Medium lavender-purple base with green, pink, orange, silver and gold duochrome. My favorite of the collection. This is a true duochrome (and by duochrome I mean 'multichrome') where the colors change depending on the angle."

Zoya Matte Velvets for Winter earn a RAVE review from Scrangie

... and boy does she ever love them!
Make sure to check this out for a great review of the color and application tips.
"Overall, I'm totally thrilled with this collection. I am starting to get bored with mattes, to tell you the truth, but as soon as I saw these... WOW. There are other mattes? What other mattes? These are THE mattes. The best shades, the best finish. I don't usually like to declare things 'the best' because I love everything, but really... For me, these blow the other mattes out of the water. They're my favorite colors- how could I not love them? Green and purple in a matte shimmer finish... " Scrangie

See the Zoya Color Lock System at Work on Scrangie
Visit Scrangie's blog this week to see her review of the Zoya Color Lock System! This system is designed to keep your nail polish wearing longer for up to a week. Take a look at her photos from day 1 to day 7 to see how the Color Lock System prevents chipping and keeps your manicure fresh. There are plenty of great tips on how to keep your nail polish in place.
To keep your manicure or pedicure looking perfect first clean and prep the nails with Remove+. Next apply 1 coat of Zoya's Anchor base coat. Let dry then follow with 2 coats of your favorite Zoya Nail Polish shade (Scrangie picked Roxy, a purple with magenta glitter sparkles.) After your nail polish has dried for a few minutes apply 1 coat of Zoya's Armor top coat. Finish with Zoya's Hurry Up Drops to speed your nail polish drying time and enhances the color vibrancy.
Zoya Ooh-La-La and La-Di-Da: Top nail polish blogger gives a great review!

...on ZOYA La-Di-da..."The formula on these is excellent as usual. Smooth, not too runny or too thick, no bubbles, no streaks. Pretty much perfect."
"Overall, I'm thrilled with this collection! Midori and Tallulah are amazing. Emme and Ginessa seem a little out of place with the other bold, bright colors in this collection. Ginessa is really cool, I wouldn't replace it if I had the choice."
__ __
...on ZOYA Ooh-La-La... "The formula on these was awesome. Not a single one of these polishes gave me trouble. They practically applied themselves. Pippa was a little bit streaky on the first coat, but that is to be expected of a yellow creme polish. Another upside to the neon formula is that they dry almost instantly. Even the non-neons dried quickly. No complaints at all."

SCRANGIE
"Overall, this is a strong collection. Three feminine colors for the traditionalists and three unique colors for the hardcore nail people like us. I am quite pleased at that trade-off. Normally spring collections are very blah for me, but this one is different. I can foresee Harley being a big favorite with everyone. I'm already wearing Jo and I can't stop looking at my fingers. The formula on these is top notch. All of them were the perfect texture and didn't even hint at giving me a problem. They were all smooth and perfect without having that gooey, drippy three-free texture. No issues in the formula department."
Zoya Nail Polish in Harley:
"This color is awesome! It's a light shimmering concrete grey with just a hint of coppery sparkle."
Zoya Nail Polish in Jo:
"Dreamy overcast blue. It really says spring to me"
Zoya Nail Polish in Malia:
"Love at first sight...Very springy- reminds me of Easter eggs! It's also not a bright purple shade- it's muted. Cloudy purple."
Zoya Nail Polish in Barbie:
"This pink says, "Yeah, I like girly pink, you got a problem with that?""
Zoya Nail Polish in Cassi:
"This would make a really cute pedicure. Cassi has that pretty Zoya shimmer that I love- it's like tiny little crystal flakes!"
Zoya Nail Polish in Moxie:
"It's a rich crushed-berry creme... this is a beautiful color!"
